Authorized media download
Download approved direct media as MP4 or MP3.
This tool is not available on HandyTechHelper yet. It needs a server service that is not running, so it cannot process requests. All other tools work as listed.
This tool sends the URL to the optional HandyTechHelper server. The server retrieves and converts the media. Temporary files expire after 15 minutes. Files you select in other tools are not uploaded.
The downloader is not enabled on this installation. Browser tools remain available. Administrators must configure approved sources and the isolated backend before enabling it.
How to use Authorized media download
1. Enter your input. 2. Review the settings and limitations. 3. Run the tool and review your result before saving it.
Optional server service. Only administrator-approved direct media URLs are accepted.
A few useful answers
What happens to my input?
Your URL is sent to this installation’s backend. Only configured direct media sources can be fetched. Temporary files are deleted after cancellation, failure, or expiry. Server access logs may include request metadata.
Can I use this offline?
No. Both the backend and the approved media source must be reachable.
What if processing fails?
Check the input, the settings, and the limits shown above. Try a smaller file or simpler input. Keep a copy of your original; this tool does not modify it.
